April 26, 2023 — utsa proudly announced this year’s university excellence awards winners during a live event on tuesday attended by nominees and their peers. this annual program celebrates the achievements of roadrunner faculty and staff, ranging from exceptional teaching and innovative research to exemplary team spirit and impactful advocacy. Winners will be announced at an in person event on tuesday, april 30 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the h e b student union ballroom on the utsa main campus (hsu 1.104 1.106). for those who are unable to be attend, there is an option to watch online via livestream. the business affairs nominees for 2024 are: leadership award. This morning we learned that 13 of our colleagues in 8 different departments and schools were awarded our university’s highest honor – the president’s university excellence award. our colleagues distinguished themselves across multiple categories including teaching, undergraduate service, core curriculum teaching, university service, research, community engagement and innovation impact.
