Depends on whether you like polymer frame, aluminum frame, or steel frame guns (or something funky like the 320 x5 which is polymer tungsten hybrid). and .40sw will actually be a disadvantage in carry optics due to lower mag capacity and recoil. the canik rival is probably the best value option on the market right now. This is my recently complete g34 used for uspsa carry optics. it has a 100 gram guide rod with a lightened slide and 15lb recoil spring. it shoots like an absolute dream. i am also running a johnny glock combat trigger that is giving me a 3.5lb pull with a solid crisp wall. I started uspsa after taking a class from a guy that was grandmaster in both carry optics and open, using his carry gun, a smith a wesson m&p with a sro. i started doing the same with my glock 19 and a dpp. i use my leather carry belt with a paddle safariland holster and some mag pouches.
