An indoor garden that has a magical light source or perhaps an enchanted ceiling that lets the sun shine through. it could also be a natural cleft that lets in a lot of light. this would be a good spot to throw an unexpected monster at the players, like some twig blights or a construct the temple used to pull a plow.
