Transformers War For Cybertron On Steamdeck 1st Impressions Youtube Hey there, this is my 1st impressions playing transformers war for cybertron on steamdeck. i wanted to find some games to play on it that i couldn't play on. What i did was transfer the pirates files into google drive, then went into my steam deck and downloaded the files from there. from there i just ran the .exe file that begins the game download. once i checked that the game ran well, i put it as a non steam game on the deck so i could play it directly from the gaming mode.

So for anyone wondering, i was unable to run war for cybertron without altering one of the files. it kept failing to successfully load run the vc redistributable installation for the game. i solved it by copying the vc redistributable file from fall of cybertron and pasting it into war for cybertron's files. I can remember beating this game co op with my best friend haha. she & i had a blast playing it. loved megatron too in this game. game runs perfect on the de. Playing through war for cybertron right now. plays great, only issue is that can’t seem to skip the opening cinematics. also you use the trackpad to browse the menus which works fine and the button prompts are keyboard mouse.
