Lung Health Foundation Helping Canadians Breathe Easier From our donor fulfillment centre, to our certified respiratory educators, to events team and our leadership team — we are all making canada a better place to breathe. your support of the lung health foundation puts people affected by lung disease first, with 68% of all funds raised going directly to our programs. The sole reason the foundation exists is to help canadians improve their lung health. our bold new lung health starts now! 2021 2026 strategic plan will help us do it. it’s focused on taking on lung cancer, asthma and copd. we’re also hard at work on health promotion through preventing youth smoking and vaping and protecting canadians from. The primary care asthma and copd program (pcap) is an evidence based education and management program. the program has proven positive outcomes and all tools and resources are aligned with the latest canadian thoracic society (cts) guidelines. the program model has been adopted across ontario extending its reach to over 180 primary care sites.
