The earth empire soldiers are searching for kuvira while everybody else is looking for korra, but ain’t nothing but a big ass christmas display and a crater where they were last at. we finally see kuvira and korra on them spirit planes (shoutout to book two when korra was unconscious, but avatar wan ain’t walking through that door). The season was named and themed “balance,” but the climax of the story and the solving of it didn’t feel very philosophical or spiritual, even when the weapon that led to the heroes. Korra's journey was one of triumph and tragedy, success and failure, joy and sorrow that shaped her into the avatar she was truly born to be. we saw her grow and change the world in a way few avatars have. yeah, the books of lok may not have been as the books of atla, but i think they were just as good.
