I have a 3060 ti and at 1080p ,even on high ultra settings, i get 144fps on most games. the lowest i've come across so far has been around 80fps. and even without dlss at 1440p the frames are. 3060 is a 1080p100 fps card 1440p60 70 fps card so if you are fine with 60fps get 1440p but if you want a high refresh rate experience get 1080p. well i'd say upgrade the monitor so you have 1440p capability for the future. i still feel 1080p is fine today assuming you want high fps without breaking the bank.
