It is pretty clear online marketing works incredibly well, and this nightwish community does have real world impact on not only sales, but shaping journalist public perception of nightwish & floor jansen. considering nightwish is mostly "millenial" band, having exposure to sub ~20 year old audience is incredibly valuable. Reaction videos are great at exposing people to new music. neither queensryche nor judas priest are going to make my top 5 bands any time soon, but i've discovered both through 'reactors' and enjoy both. i'm sure there's plenty of nightwish fans whose first encounter with the band was from the beth roars channel or one of the other ones.
