Project Wet Water Education Foundation Our work. project wet is dedicated to solving critical environmental challenges by teaching the world about water. we do this by providing hands on, science based water education resources to formal and non formal educators around the world. these resources encourage responsible environmental stewardship and promote meaningful action to address. The history of the water education foundation dates back to 1977, when california was in the second year of a major drought and water was at the forefront of the news. the foundation’s articles of incorporation were filed on feb. 27 of that year, creating a nonprofit, nonpolitical, tax exempt educational organization. Project wet (water education today) is a water education program spanning the globe that believes informed people are more likely to participate in the decision making process and to make a difference through their actions. project wet invites educators, resource managers, community leaders and concerned citizens to join project wet in.
