Powering Our Community S Future Powering our community's future. on january 23, 2023, the cps energy board of trustees approved a generation portfolio as part of our vision 2027 plan to power our community into the future. the portfolio chosen was a blend of gas, solar, wind and energy storage. After receiving approval from our board of trustees on december 4, 2023 and the city of san antonio city council on december 7, 2023, we are increasing rates up to 4.25% which will go into effect on february 1, 2024. residential customers will begin to see an impact of about $4.45 for their monthly electric and gas bill in march, and small.

The georgia power foundation's workforce for georgia program has awarded 44 grants, serving thousands of georgia students. this funding has helped to expand and create new educational pathways in fields such as engineering, technology, healthcare science, and agriculture. many of these programs are located in communities with 35,000 or fewer.
