Mybearpaw Christmas Star Quilt As promised, here is the christmas star quilt top i got finished when i was snowbound last week. i only had another 10 blocks to make as the wonderful folks from the quick christmas bee had made the other 14! (i had made the first one as a demonstration block). thanks so much marg, lynz, julie and maria!. The christmas star quilt is finished! yes, i know christmas was a few weeks back but never mind, this quilt can be enjoyed all year round! if you remember, a few posts ago, i asked for help with machine quilting this quilt, which was made with the help of the quick christmas bee .
Christmas Star Quilt Close Up Corner Made With The Quickвђ Flickr Today let's look at the christmas star quilt block. with christmas just around the corner, it seemed like a good time for this tutorial. this traditional chr. Instead of giving you a pattern this year, i decided to design a free christmas block which can be used in what ever project you are planning or working on during this festive season. i kept it simple; a two toned paper pieced, five pointed star which is perfect for christmas and all of those projects you may have planned. 2. sew the 24 1 2” x 18 1 2” background fabric rectangle to the left side of the star block. 3. sew the 4 1 2” x 36 1 2” background fabric rectangle to the top of the quilt. 4. sew the 8 1 2” x 36 1 2” background fabric rectangle (with or without appliqué on it yet) to the bottom of the quilt. I completed 2 christmas quilts this year and have another one on the wall. two others that have been waiting years to be quilted. i absolutely love the colors in your quilt! they coordinate beautifully. i might have to add this one to my list for next year. looks easy enough. thank you for the free pattern and free inspiration.
