Mission Of The Messiah Traditional Lutheran Worship Youtube A lutheran church missouri synod, located in plano, texas. we members of messiah remain dedicated to a mission that envisions bringing even more people into god’s kingdom. Many of the songs are songs you might hear on a contemporary christian radio station. as with the traditional service we believe that the holy spirit gathers us together and speaks to us through the words of scripture, the sacraments, prayer and music. through worship, we are nurtured by god in order that we can grow in our faith and discipleship. Messiah lutheran church has a history that now encompasses over 50 years of blessings from god and service to him. the church began as a mission in what was then a little town called richardson, on the edge of dallas. the first service was on june 3, 1956. god blessed the mission and vision of those people who first gathered and 41 souls.
