If i understand correctly, coolant is being pumped through the engine and radiator (provided the pump is working), and air hitting the radiator at highway speeds should more than compensate for a fan that isn't working. generally speaking, i'd say that's true. the fan probably doesn't run at all when there is highway speed air flow through the rad.

Kawasaki Radiator Fan Motor Easy To Fix Repair Youtube Until then if you have to run it, pull the connector off the switch and make a jumper between the two wires. the fan will run all the time then. and if whatever you are using on these connections doesn't dry completely, don't use it. a film between the two parts can stop continuanty. 06 bf 750 (silver) sold. The second picture (drivers side) is the fan switch. to check it, pull the two wires off and check for 12v on the blue white wire. if there is 12v then your circuit breaker is good. short the two wires together your fan should turn on, if not there is a problem with your fan. if no 12v, then you need to check the ciruit breaker. Positive circuit starts at the battery, goes thru main fuse, then to the radiator fan fuse, then thru the radiator fan switch (normally open then closes at 200 degrees), and then to the fan. so there are only 2 ways your fan can be on at all times. 1) would be your radiator fan switch is stuck closed allowing positive voltage to fan at all times.
