Ioe Student Wins Ucl Doctoral Research Poster Competition Institute The annual research poster competition is organised by the doctoral school to encourage ucl research students to communicate their research to others. the competition allows students to enter their poster in (cross)disciplinary research categories. the aim is to encourage us to think more broadly about how our research fits in the wider world. The annual poster competition, which began in 1997 (then known as set for britain), is open to early career researchers from across britain, e.g. msc, phd students and post doctoral researchers. the winners are judged by senior scientists from the learned societies, who first select the participants on the basis of abstracts submitted.
Mine 2023 Centre For Doctoral Education Student Poster Conference The poster competition will highlight collaborative and interdisciplinary research work taking place across ucl at all levels from first year phd students to post docs and ecrs. the poster competition forms part of a phd conference, building bridges beyond disciplinary boundaries, organized by the collaborative social science domain's phd group. Research degree students that have been accepted to present a paper or a poster at a conference are eligible to apply to the centre for doctoral education, for a maximum grant of £1000 towards expenses. note this is the amount available for the total duration of a student’s registration with the ioe.
