You can use a slant roof instead of a gable roof, as they can rotate. using this will give players similar results as gable roof. you can also click on the last dot of your roof to re align it and repeat the same for all corners until it faces the right way. another way to solve this problem is by editing the walls around the gable roof.

This roof keeps facing this way i want it to face sideways. either you will have to make the roof go further back into the house or when your using manual place, click a different corner each time until you get the roof you want. i wish that bloxburg can rotate the gable roof. edit: i’m stupid and forgot how that specific roof worked, instead.
