Chapter 1 at last! kinda short really, just amber and basil still struggling with the trauma of what happened in "echoes in the night." i know basil seems very out of character, but since this side of him wasn't really shown in the movie, i took some liberties with it. this is fanfiction after all, so i can do what i want!.
