Diy Loft Bed Part 2 Youtube Step 1. cut the ladder pieces to size. drill 1 1 2” pocket holes on both ends of each rung. attach the rungs to the ladder legs with 2 1 2” pocket hole screws and wood glue. attach the ladder to the loft bed with 3” wood screws, from the back of the leg supports and into the ladder. Step 1 – attach the back assembly to the studs behind the wall with 3″ wood screws. attach the side assemblies to the back assembly with 2 1 2" pocket hole screws and wood glue. step 2 – attach the front assembly to the side assemblies with 2 1 2" pocket hole screws and wood glue. i’ll be back with the second half of this loft bed soon!.
