When i bought the game, i bought it as derail valley: overhauled for like $20. for that price it was easily worth it within like a day. but the amount of content and gameplay a lot of it unstructured and emergent as a result of the rules of the game and the sandbox open world absolutely makes it worth it even at the higher price tag it's selling for now.

We recommend the standard difficulty as the main way to experience the game. i'd like an overview of the differences between the three difficulties "casual", "standard", and "realism". i know realism limits you to first person view and apparently gives some sort of bonus pay for completing jobs, but that's pretty much the extent of my knowledge. The insane folks over at @altfuture have crossed the finish line, putting out derail valley's biggest update ever, after years of work. how is it? incredible.
