(the superb dcm cx 17, 27 and 31 have an excellent vifa or visaton tweeter, both modified for dcm with ferrofluid cooling. i own some cx 17s with visaton tweeters and i love them.) coaxial mounting in most of the cx series improved imaging. When i was working at a high end store in the early 80s i bought a pair of the original time windows from dcm for less than store cost. they’re incredible. they sat unused in the original boxes from 1999 until 2016. i thought during that time one of the drivers or crossover would go bad. they didn’t and sound as good as new.
