Crispy Oven Baked Chicken Wings Recipe Dr Davinah S Eats Preheat your oven to 425°f. place the chicken wings in a ziploc bag. add baking powder, salt, and pepper to the bag with the wings. seal the bag and shake it well to ensure the wings are evenly coated with the seasonings and baking powder. line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup. Add in the wings and mix to coat the wings well. heat a cast iron or other heavy bottomed sauté pan over high heat. add in 2 tablespoons of the duck fat, bacon fat, or ghee. when the fat is shimmering in the pan, add in the first round of wings. sauté the wings for about 2 minutes a side, turning carefully with tongs.

Oven Baked Chicken Wings Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. place a cooling rack (see note) on top and spray with pam or rub with cooking oil to prevent sticking. lay the chicken wings on the rack, leaving space between the wings. place the baking sheet in the oven. turn the heat down to 425f and set the mode to convection. Preheat oven to 425 degrees f. take wings directly from refrigerator and roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, until crispy and brown and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees f. cooking time will vary based on the size of your chicken wings. serve plain hot, or use desired flavor sauces and variations.
