Self imposed challenges are the way to play. increase the difficulty to where you’re comfortable. sleep once in a 24hr cycle limit fasttravelling. actually play the game. carry a realistic amount of gear weapons armour. catch trap buy food and prepare it. these types of playstyles add so much to the game. Lord stone is really good, especially with bretons for 50% magic resistance and an extra 50 armour. crucial for legendary. 9 no time for rp on legendary. also sven is a neet. this is tips, not a casual run. 10 another reason not to pick sven ever. 11 make sure to loot the treasure map from the archer bandit as well. Character creation: i recommend breton, nord, or dark elf; simply for the resistances. these are very important in survival. your character build comes as you play: i found easiest and potentially strongest to shoot for a build that utilizes stealth archery initially, then switch to one handed shield in melee range (adding dual wielding perks later for better dps).
