Cascadia went in the complete opposite direction and felt extremely open and sandboxey. verdant splits the middle and i think gives us the best of both worlds. i also feel like calico and cascadia had a couple few too many point categories to keep track of. verdant’s scoring, though still a point salad, is also just right imo.
