Cadillac Northstar Engine Water Pump Housing Crossover Leaking No low coolant warning on dash. purge line is clear and unobstructed. leak only apparent during pressurization (while cold) of the recovery tank and then the drip from the wp area is apparent. removing the parts for greater visibility, not leaking from the wp itself nor the t stat housing, but the crossover wp housing is wet on the bottom. I don't know what it is, but more and more i am seeing these cadillac northstar engines coming in with leaking water pump crossover housings. there are 4 gaskets between this housing that are often times overlooked when doing just a water pump.
