Biblical Archaeology Session 2 The truth of the bible as revealed in the person of jesus christ. 2 peter 1:19 we have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: archaeology is one of the tools that helps us understand this “more sure word of prophecy”. Session speaker title description; 10:00 a.m. doors open: 10:30 a.m. session 2: dr. randall price “genesis and archaeology: dual records of historical events” in this presentation we will see how the book of genesis, which records the early history of mankind from creation to israel's patriarchs, is complemented by the archaeological record.
