Berserk Armor Google Search Manga Anime Anime Art Fantasy Armor By will heath | art. kentaro miura is a manga artist most famous for his long running manga series berserk, a deeply detailed and bleak fantasy story about a lone swordsman named guts. miura is something of a legend within the manga world, with berserk having been adapted to anime twice, twenty years apart: once in 1997, and again in 2017. The first picture is fanart, though. the original is even more detailed and a bit darker. probably one of the best things about the series, love his attention to details. the morning departure panels are some of my favorite in the entire manga, and the two page piece of art before griffith and guts' duel is incredible. Berserk is one of the best examples of utilizing the art to its upmost as a storytelling device. there are numerous instances of important detail and emotions being shown, and not told. this fully utilizes the strengths of the medium. berserk would be a completely different experience if it was in a novel form instead of a manga. Vagabond's art style is better from a character perspective. i will say, though, as someone who loves vagabond as their favorite, that berserk definitely tackles scenes with lush scenery, grotesque monster hordes and sheer spectacles of warfare in an impressive fashion that sometimes puts even vagabond's art to shame.
