Beef Haleem Recipe By Kanwal S Kitchen Youtube Indulge in the rich and comforting flavors of beef haleem, a traditional dish specially made to celebrate eid ul adha. this hearty and aromatic recipe combin. Heat the cooking oil. saute the garlic paste for 2 minutes. add the beef and saute till light brown. rinse and drain the lentils and add them to the meat along with the spice blend and 10 cups of water and bring to a boil. lower the heat to medium and slow cook for 2 hours till the meat is tender. Transfer to a paper towel. using the same ghee and pan, brown the meat for a few minutes over a medium high heat. pour in just enough water to cover and simmer, covered for about 2 hours or until the meat is fall apart tender. i allowed mine meat to cool overnight in the fridge as i wasn’t in a hurry. shred the beef. Place daal in the pan with 4 cups of water. also add salt (to taste), red chili powder (1 tsp), turmeric powder (1 tsp), coriander powder (1 tsp), garam masala powder (1 tsp). give it a good stir to mix all the ingredients. cover the pan and cook for about 1 hour on low medium heat. prepare rice, wheat & barley.

After that add all the dry spices and sauté your beef meat well. it will take 5 to 10 minutes for the meat to sauté well. when beef is well sauté and oil comes to side on sides of the pressure cooker then take half cooking oil out of the pressure cooker. now add 3 liter water in pressure cooker and give it pressure for about 40 to 60 minutes. Soak all the daal (lentils) and rice in a bowl for about 2 3 hours, before cooking. in a large pot, add the soaked wheat and daal. add enough water to cover the grains, and cook for 5 7 minutes on medium high heat. then cook on low heat till all the wheat, barley, and daal (lentils) are tender.
