Jaheira is fine in bg1. she's twice as good offensively as any other non fighter healer because she can use the dagger of venom and gets a higher apr. in the first game with the proper gear (ankheg plate, ring 1, shield 1) she can make a decent secondary tank as well as heal bot, also her hp becomes relatively high.
