Artstation Mecha Beast 222 The artstation community challenges are designed to be a fun and exciting learning experience and the keyframe portion is all about storytelling according to the challenge brief for our most recent challenge (ancient civilizations), challengers needed to create four keyframes which show key narrative beats in their story that fit within the theme of ancient civilizations: lost & found. With over 800 participants who took part in the character design challenge, it’s almost needless to say that narrowing it down to our final winners from the mass of very talented and creative designs was a difficult task for our judges. challengers had to design 10 unique characters from an ancient civilization. Nyx beast mecha, james lin hey guys here is a personal project of a sci fi mech called nyx. he is a beast of a mech designed for sprinting but still causing some major damage. Nautical themed armor sets for our game new world. the thematic idea behind these was a civilization of deep sea divers, fishermen, and shark hunters.
