Actually, i'm pretty sure the design change is consistent with the story, the rattman murals show different progressions of her appearance if you look carefully, you can see a mural of the p2 glados somewhere, and another mural of her exact p1 aesthetic, so the reason is likely lore related, i mean, broken computers don't tend to look the same afterwards, so of course she looks different. My only problem is the fact that glados' head is so big chell can fit in it. so this thing is huge. but also love how you didnt make it entirely symmetrical just like her original form. it really seems like glados found some parts from different androids and just put them together to build herself this body. this is pretty cool art.
