The alumni ae association is here to strengthen the connection between alumni ae and the college and help bardians everywhere, of every graduating class, to stay in touch. there are now more than 19,000 bard alumni ae—and that number is growing, as close to half of all bardians have graduated in the last 20 years.

In 1965, arlene began her teaching career at bard as an instructor in dance, later becoming an assistant professor in 1967. for the next two decades, arlene devoted her talents to her students in the development of modern dance technique and choreography. arlene’s dedication and contribution to bard will long be remembered. Bard dance program alumni ae are kicking it in 2023! congratulations to sam asa pratt '14, half of the baye & asa choreography duo, for winning the harkness promise award from dance magazine, which provides a grant and rehearsal space for innovative young choreographers.
