Ford 7 3 Cooling System Diagram 7.3 powerstroke coolant flow diagram. the powerstroke 7.3 is a workhorse engine that was used in ford super duty trucks from 1999 to 2003. this engine is known for its durability and longevity, but it can still have cooling system issues. the coolant flow diagram for the 7.3 powerstroke can help you troubleshoot any problems you may be having. 1999 2003 7.3l power stroke diesel 7.3 coolant diagram does anyone have a diagram of the coolant system for our trucks? i've searched all over to no avail. i have two lines i can't figure out where they go after an engine swap.

7 3 Powerstroke Cooling System Diagram 7.3 cooling system. trying to figure out the cooling system on my 1995 7.3 f350 and it's not making any sense to me. so i started out with a 1995 f350 7.3 that had the idi cooling system. well i replaced the radiator support with a 97' f350 powerstroke radiator support and replaced the idi radiator, with a mishimoto 7.3 powerstroke radiator. 1999 2003 7.3l power stroke diesel cooling system flow chart? i just changed out a cracked oil cooler and am trying to purge the system. i let the mud drain out for 3 days, and charged the system with air pressure about 10 times until mud finally did stop coming out of the block and radiator, though we all know. Either one of those hoses would be a good place to connect the filter inlet. the hose on top of the water pump is the best place to connect the filter outlet. if you connect the filter inlet to any of the places discussed and return it to the degas, all of the coolant flowing thru the filter bypasses the thermostat. The coolant flow diagram for the 2002 7.3 powerstroke includes several key components. at the heart of the system is the water pump, which is responsible for circulating the coolant throughout the engine. the coolant flows from the water pump through the engine block and cylinder heads, where it absorbs heat from the combustion process.
