10 Cannonball Bale Bed Problems Joelleamnah A new hydra bed was a grand or two more a new deweze was several thousand more. i think i'd like a deweze the best but can't justify the price, would have been in the $14k range for us 12'x8', got the cannonball for right at $10k. we've probably moved 150 bales with it so far in the last 3 months. 10 Cannonball Bale Bed Problems Joelleamnah Bale beds: i'd like to hear your opinions. this is my first post and i'm not sure i put it in the right category for the best feedback. please move if it belongs somewhere else. there are many companies now that build bale beds today. i want to hear everyone's opinions on all of them. there's some things i like and dislike about each model. In the midwest that type of setup just isnt found. the cows are kept around a barn or out in limited pasture with bales that are fed with standard fel mounts on tractors. its my understanding same is true for the south. sep 23, 2014 anyone own use cannonball bale beds? #5. 2010 gmc 3500 4x4 regular cab w cannonball bale bed 6.0 gas, 6.5 7 mpg, what can i do? as opposed to what most people think i think that's part of the problem. If you can see in the pic, the hitch is bowed down, which is critical on this bed because it has hinge points and dumps. i want to jack it up straight, cut the hitch off, and put a piece 1 2in thick 2x2 and underneath and then reweld the hitch back on. i'll get more pics and add to the design.
